
Sarah Giroux, DPT
Summit Physical Therapy, PLLC was started by Sarah Giroux, PT, DPT in August 2016. Sarah was raised in Lapeer before she went off to college. She graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan in 2007.

Sarah opened up Summit Physical Therapy to be able to offer quality therapy while providing an inviting atmosphere where patients feel comfortable. She strives to keep up to date with the latest and best treatments to encourage quick recovery. Her passion is working with neck and back patients as well as women’s health issues, however has treated many different orthopedic injuries over the last 13 years! She is certified in Astym(R) and Dry needling techniques.
Sarah is very passionate about her job as a physical therapist. She is able to live by the quote from Marc Anthony “if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life”. She loves what she does and works hard to make sure you understand she is here to help you recover from your pain, surgery, or ailments. When starting up Summit Physical Therapy, she wanted to make sure she was creating a clinic where patients felt welcomed, encouraged, relaxed, and motivated to “getting back to what matters most” and she will always strive to get you there.
Sarah has three kids who attend Oxford Schools. She enjoys traveling, watching sports, wine, yoga, and spending time with family.

Carly Maas, DPT
Carly Maas has been practicing PT for three years after graduating from Oakland University in 2018 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Carly joined Summit Physical Therapy in February 2020. She enjoys working in an outpatient setting as it allows her to work with and treat a variety of patient populations and diagnoses. She looks forward to taking additional training in women’s health and sports rehabilitation. Prior to coming to Summit PT she worked as a traveling therapist up north where her family cottage is located.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time up north out on the lake with family and friends, traveling and going hiking with her dogs.

Suzanne Schmidt, MPT​
Suzanne Schmidt, MPT joined Summit Physical Therapy in July 2017. She comes with 20 years of orthopedic and sports medicine experience.
Suzanne started her career in Rochester in a private outpatient orthopedic clinic seeing shoulder, neck, back, hip, knee, ankle and foot patients for pre and post operative therapy. She then moved on to open up an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lake Orion for the Detroit Medical Center where she was the Senior PT. During that time she took numerous continuing education courses in sports medicine and orthopedics, mentored staff, worked as a clinical instructor, wrote articles for Sports and Fitness magazines and the DMC.
Suzanne has lived in the Oxford community since 1999. She has two children that go to Oxford community schools. Suzanne enjoys traveling, being with family/friends, riding horses, water skiing and being outdoors. She is excited to be at Summit Physical Therapy so she can help people in her community get back to what they love to do. The thing she loves most about being at Summit Physical Therapy is she can work one on one with her patients and provide quality care.

Stephanie Garoufalis, PT Tech
Stephanie joined Summit Physical Therapy in September of 2021 and brings over 20 years of experience as a PT tech.

Stephanie loves working with patients and helping them through their therapy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and learning new things. Gardening and paper crafts are two of her favorite hobbies.

Dina Wiltfang
Dina joined Summit Physical Therapy’s team in December of 2019. Dina comes from an allergy office and has 7 years of experience with reception.
Dina comes from a military family where her father was in the air force.
She traveled a lot when she was young. She moved to Michigan in 1994 and in 1999 her and her husband moved to Ortonville where they raised their son and currently reside. In her spare time,
Dina enjoys bowling, crafting, golfing, and camping.
